Objective

You understand the basic concepts of linear algebra and ways to solve systems of linear equations.
You can utilize vector calculus in various spaces.
You understand the fundamentals of matrix calculations.
You are able to perform coordinate transformations.
You know why and how quaternions are used in 3D graphics.

Content

How are vectors and matrices used to calculate and solve various systems of equations?
What are the applications of linear algebra?
What is coordinate system and coordinate transform?
How are scalar and vector projections utilized?
How are rotations calculated and performed using quaternions?

Evaluation

Students are able to:
a. use professional vocabulary systematically.
b. look for information in the key information sources of the field.
c. identify interrelated tasks.
e. use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field.
