Objective

You can describe various research methods applied to RDI tasks.

You can use various research methods to develop products, services, processes, and organisations.

You can plan and conduct applied research using relevant research methods of data collection and data analysis.

Content

What qualitative, quantitative, and action (processual) research methods are applied to RDI tasks?

What research methods should be used in the development of products, services, processes, and organisations?

How to select relevant research methods of data collection and data analysis in applied business research?

Evaluation

Students can
a) find, study, produce and assess critically multidisciplinary data in their field of expertise.
b) solve demanding problems in research, development and innovation activities.
e) assess different strategic approaches and justify their use in terms of management and development.

Course material and literature will be announced later.

Study forms and methods

The course will be implemented as scheduled in student timetables.

RDI and work-related cooperation

The course will include a number of research and development tasks.

Various individual and group assignments, no exam

International cooperation

The course will be based on the international framework of research methods and RDI.

Student workload

The course is 5 ECTS and it is to be completed in English. 1 ECTS means approximately 27 hours of student work related to studying the course material, fulfilling the course assignments and acting as a group member.
