You know the relevant theories of intercultural communication and can apply them in your work when analyzing communication.

You can comprehend the role of culture in organization and management.

You understand the importance of inclusion and anti-racism diversity in organizational settings.

What are the most significant theories of cultures and intercultural communication?

How can the theoretical frameworks and concepts of cross-cultural communication be applied to the analysis of verbal and non-verbal communication?

What is the role of culture in organization and management?

How can you promote inclusive leadership and diversity management?

c) assess and manage individuals’ and teams operations from the intercultural point of view

Course material

To be provided on the Learn platform.

Study forms and methods

The study consists of (1) independent study of course materials, (2) compiling and delivering a video-recorded presentation on a chosen theoretical aspect of intercultural communication and management, (3) discussing others’ presentations on the discussion forum, and (4) writing an academic essay where you contemplate a practical intercultural issue in light of theories presented in your own and other students’ presentations. There are no schedules online classes.

Timing of exams and assignments

The videorecorded presentation must be submitted by 9 June.
Discussion on others' presentations and the essay must be completed by 31 July.
