Objective

Students can find, study, produce and evaluate critically data in their field of expertise.

Students can manage development work communally. Students are able to include actors of the project of the thesis and sharie knowledge in a variety of expert communities.

Students can explain and analyze the solutions and their effectiveness, taking into account the individual (for example, customers and employees), community / business and society at large, as well as those included in the value of the potential conflicts.

Students can plan and implement documentation and information of development work professionally.

Students can report on the development work during the process, taking into account the purpose of the project participants, interest groups and the methods used.

Students can inform of their own development work with appropriate information tools and media ethically keeping the social responsibility of the field in mind.

How to build information communally? How to share the lessons learned in different expert communities during the process of development work?

Workload for a student 5 x 27 hours of independent work (studying the material, writing assignments, co-operartion with other students)

Toteutuksen osien kuvaus

Assignments related to general presentation skill, writing skills, referencing and report writing, stylistical and textual skills and genres for academic and professional usage, social media for professional purposes.

Assessment methods and criteria

The criteria of the assignments available in the "Learn" platform. The course grade bases on the assessment of the individual assignments, and each of them should be passed. Teacher gives feedback that supports the student's learning process.
