Objective
You will improve your speaking and writing skills of communicating in Swedish in situations typical of your field of study. You will expand your professional vocabulary and you can utilize your language skills in expert situations at or above level B1 in the European Framework (CEFR).
Content
How do you improve your ability to use Swedish in working life communication situations?
How can you expand your vocabulary and learn to communicate more diversely?
What new information will you learn about the Swedish-speaking cultures and working life both in Finland and Sweden as well as about the Nordic working life environment and culture?
Evaluation
The student can
a) use the key vocabulary of the field consistently
b) search for information in relevant field-specific sources
e) select tools and methods that support individual learning in Swedish studies and use them efficiently.
f) use Swedish actively when working as a team member
Evaluation: Pass / Fail
To pass this course the student is required to receive a pass grade for all course assignments as well as participate actively in the online lessons.
