Objective

Knowledge and understanding of and proficiency in:
- considerations for designing, installing and maintaining the ship's electrical installations
- consideration of potentially explosive atmospheres in electrical design, installation and maintenance

Content

- electrical power distribution boards and electrical equipment
- potentially explosive atmospheres and their design and equipment selection (SFS-EN 60079)
- classification of spaces
- explosion protection categories
