Objective

Knowledge and understanding of and proficiency in:
- fundamentals of electronics and power electronics
- knows the constructions and operation principles, parameters and application of different semiconductor elements
- electronic converters and areas of their application on ships

Content

- resistances, coils, capasitors, diodes, SCR, GTO and IGT thyristors, field effect transistors – MOSFET and JFET, IGBT transistors
- electronic converters and areas of their application on ships
