You understand aging in social contexts.
You can use sociocultural models and methods in working with older adults.
You understand various difficult life situations that older adults can face.
You can use gerontological social welfare work and gerontological social guidance work methods in specialised social guidance.

What does social gerontology mean?
What does social culture mean in working with older adults?
What are the most common social problems that older adults face and how do difficulties appear at individual, community and society levels?
What is gerontological social welfare work and gerontological social quidance work in practice?

Evaluation

Students can
