Objective

You understand sexuality and sexual health as part of clients' overall wellbeing.
You are able to guide clients in sexual and reproductive health issues.
You are able to apply your knowledge of the most common gynaecological diseases.
You know the normal course and follow-up of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum period.
You are able to act appropriately in emergency-like out-of-hospital deliveries.
You are able to provide basic care and observation of healthy newborns.
You are able to support families in growing into parenthood and in newborns' daily care and breastfeeding.
You are able to apply your knowledge of the most common skin diseases when carrying out nursing.

What is the significance of sexuality and sexual health for clients' overall wellbeing?
How to guide clients in sexual and reproductive health issues?
What are the most common gynaecological diseases and how are they treated?
How do normal pregnancies, childbirths and postpartum periods progress?
How do you act appropriately in emergency-like out-of-hospital deliveries?
How do you implement healthy newborn observation and daily care?
How do you support families in parenting and in newborns' daily care and breastfeeding?
What are the most common skin diseases and how are they treated?

Evaluation

Students can
