Objective

You understand the operating principles and purposes of relational databases.
You are able to search, filter, and parse data in a relational database using the SQL language.
You recognise the uses and possibilities of the SQL language.

Content

What are the operating principles of relational databases?
How do you make a connection to a relational database?
How can the SQL language be used to search for and modify the data needed for analysis?

Evaluation

Students can

a. use professional vocabulary systematically
c. identify interrelated tasks
e. use the key models, methods, software and techniques of the data analytics

Course material

The material required for the course is provided on the Learn platform. For example, Google's Collaboration platform can be used as a development environment.

Studies are based on the materials and learning tasks offered on the course's Learn platform.
Individual learning tracks can be discussed with the lecturer

The course has one project assignment that can involve business collaboration.
