- You know how to use Xamk`s own systems and the most common digital tools in your studies and profession.
- You will be able to create the most common documents, presentations and spreadsheets.
- You know how to work with information security mindset.

- You know the most common digital tools and services in your professional field.
- You know how to use appropriate digital applications and utilize your skills in tasks in your field.

- Which Xamk systems do you need during your studies?
- Which information and communication technology applications do you need in your studies and profession?
- How to create the most common documents using word processing, presentation graphics and spreadsheets?
- What is meant by information security and how to work securely in your studies and profession?

- Which digital tools and services are used in your professional field?
- How do you use digital applications and utilize your skills in tasks in your professional field?

Course material

3 opintopisteen yhteinen osuus: Learn-alustalle jaettu ohjeistus ja opastus.

2 opintopisteen opintoalakohtaisen osuuden opiskelumateriaalina toimivat ohjeet, luentovideot ja tehtävät, jotka jaetaan opintoalakohtaisella Learn alustalla.

Study forms and methods

• The course is carried out entirely by way of unscheduled online study. / The course is mainly carried out by way of unscheduled online study but it also has XX scheduled online lessons. The scheduled online lessons entail work in groups / require active participation. Participation in scheduled online lessons is mandatory/not mandatory. Participation in the start session is mandatory. The teacher provides guidance during scheduled online lessons and ....
• Studies are carried out on the Learn platform. Access to the platform opens on the starting day of the course. As a rule, scheduled online lessons are carried out .... In addition to having an internet connection, the students must also have a video and audio connection during online lessons.
• Progress is made by completing assignments individually/in groups and taking an exam/exams which are …
• The assessed assignments are completed individually/in groups/in pars. The assignments must be submitted by the given deadlines.
• Feedback is provided by different methods, in writing and/or orally. Also, peer feedback can be used.

Assignments can be completed with reference to tasks given by one’s employer or in connection to developing a product.

3 op yhteinen osuus: oppimistehtävät suositellaan suoritettavaksi ajanjaksolla tammikuu-maaliskuu 2026 (31.3.2026 mennessä).

2 opintopisteen tehtävät opiskelija voi ajoittaa oman aikataulunsa mukaisesti opintojakson ajalle. Viimeinen tehtävien palautuspäivä on 31.3.2026.

Student workload

• In a 5-credit course, the student's total maximum workload is approximately 135 hours including lessons, group work and independent study.

Kuvaa Peppiin merkityt toteutuksen osat ja niiden suhteellinen osuus toteutuksesta.

3 opintopisteen yhteinen osuus: verkko75-opiskelu yhteisellä Learn-alustalla eri alojen koulutusten kanssa ajanjaksolla tammikuu-maaliskuu 2026 (31.3.2026 mennessä). 3 op kaikkien yhteisessä digitaito-osuudessa opiskelija suorittaa annettuja oppimistehtäviä itsenäisesti Learn-alustalla sekä Xamkin M365-ympäristössä. Oppimistehtävät ovat toimistosovellusten käyttämistä ja opiskelukirjoittamista. Osuus on ns. verkko75-opiskelu yhteisellä Learn-alustalla eri alojen koulutusten kanssa (toteutukset XY00EX57-3106, AV00FI66-3005, XY00EX57-3097, XY00EX57-3136) ajanjaksolla tammikuu-maaliskuu 2026 (31.3.2026 mennessä). 2 opintopisteen opintoalakohtainen sisältö koostuu Excel taulukkolaskentaohjelman toimintojen harjoittelusta ja tekoälyn käytön harjoittelusta.

Assessment methods and criteria

The student’s performance is assessed with reference to the learning objectives and assessment criteria of the course. The course completion requires that all assignments are assessed with a passing grade.
