You understand the basics of the CAD program selected for the course.

You know the basic tools and drawing techniques in the software.

You can use the program as part of the design process.

You are able to export and import your plans from one software to another.

You know how to develop your skills independently in the future.

Content

How do you get the most out of CAD software?

What tools are available in CAD software, and how do you use them?

How do you use the software at different stages of your design work?

How do you print drawings, and how do you export a file to another program?

How are you able to develop your skills independently, and where can you obtain more information?

Evaluation

Students can

a. use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way in different situations.

b. assess information sources critically.

c. work as team members in working life expert duties and identify and describe the problems of the professional field.

d. assess operations in customer/client, user and target groups situations.

e. choose appropriate models, methods, software and techniques according to the purpose and justify these choices.

f. promote teams' goal-oriented operation.

g. apply critically the ethical principles of the professional field in different situations.
