• osaat tukea ja ohjata potilasta ja hänen läheisiään hoitopolun eri vaiheissa
• kykenet itsenäiseen päätöksentekoon osana akuuttihoidossa olevan potilaan kokonaishoitoa
• kykenet monialaiseen ja -ammatilliseen yhteistyöhön potilaan hoitopolun eri vaiheissa
• osoitat vastuusi hoitotyön laadusta omassa toiminnassasi ja potilasturvallisuudessa

• akuutisti sairaan potilaan hoitotyön prosessi
• hoitotyön auttamismenetelmät akuutti- ja tehohoitotyössä (päivystys-, tehoyksikkö)
• johtaminen ja itsensä johtaminen akuutti- ja tehohoitotyössä
• potilaan tilan arviointi ja hoidon periaatteet päivystyspoliklinikalla ja teho-osastolla
• moniammatillinen tiimi- ja verkostotyö akuutti- ja tehohoitotyössä

The course is intended to be part of the complementary studies of nursing students.
The 5 ECTS in Emergency and Intensive Care studies takes place entirely online. The course does not include contact teaching.

Student workload
One credit corresponds to approximately 27 hours of student work. Theory studies online 5 ECTS = 135 h, but the student can influence his or her own workload, because the course can be studied at his or her own pace. The actual workload depends on the student's study skills and previous knowledge.
The workload consists of lecture recordings, learning tasks and component exams.
