Objective

You deepen your know-how in biomechanics, pathophysiology and healing processes of musculoskeletal disorders and their connections to functional capacity and supporting it.
You know the scientific background and bases of implementation of the main concepts in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and you are able to evaluate them based on evidence and clinical practice in order to promote the client’s therapy process.
You can compare widely the different kinds of physiotherapeutic means and methods and you can choose and justify the most appropriate of them for your client´s needs.
You can examine and make conclusions about the functional capacity of a client with musculoskeletal problems, and you can guide her to further examinations or to other specialists, when needed.

Content

How do you recognize severe pathological conditions by using differential diagnostics?

How do you examine and recognize neurological and neuro-dynamic factors related to musculoskeletal disorders?
How do you examine and recognize function and problems of lower extremities?
How do you deepen and show your evidence-based know-how of affecting the musculoskeletal disorders such as muscle functions, movement, co-ordination and biomechanics?
How do you use scanning and clinical neurophysiology methods in physiotherapy?
How do you deepen and show your evidence-based know-how of treating vertebras, joints and soft tissues?
How do you plan and implement physiotherapy for a client with incontinence problems?
How do you describe different kinds of physiotherapy methods by using evidence-based knowledge?
