Objective

You understand the effects of clients' medicines.
You know the medicines used to treat foot problems and their mechanisms.
You know the principles of prevention in the national diseases and in particular in those affecting foot health.
You know different ways of lifestyle counselling.
You can design, implement and assess goal-oriented and client-specific health exercise for individuals and groups.
You can take into account clients' special characteristics and needs when planning and implementing health-promoting and applied exercise.

What are the typical medicines used in podiatry and what are their influence mechanisms?
What are the major national diseases and what are the medicines used in them?
What methods can be used in lifestyle guidance?
How do you define health-promoting exercise and applied exercise?
How are clients' special characteristics and needs taken into account when planning and implementing health-promoting and applied exercise?
