Objective

Students know the basic features of the Finnish business environment. Students understand the Finnish enterprise legislation in terms of different organisational forms. Students can identify and collaborate with the members of the Finnish business community. Students can design a business strategy for a Finnish enterprise in various industrial settings.

Content

What is the Finnish business environment and Finnish business culture? What are the most common forms of enterprises in Finland? What are the best practices of the Finnish businesses that grow intensively? What are the key success factors in planning, realising and evaluating the business strategy of a Finnish enterprise?

Assessment criteria, good (3)

a. Students can use professional vocabulary systematically and critically. c. Students can work as group members in the Finnish business environment. d. Students know how to deal with the Finnish legislation, Finnish customers and can benefit from the best practices of the Finnish entrepreneurship. f. Students can create effective teams for founding and developing an enterprise in the Finnish business environment. g. Students know the basic ethical principles of the Finnish businesses.
