Objective

You are able to design and dimension structures in different FEM programs.
You know how to make Excel-based programs.
You know how to make MathCAD-based programs.

Content

How to build a variable structural image in Excel?
How do you get the material library into a drop-down menu?
How to obtain forces and support reactions from FEM program?
How to manage the loads and their aggregations in FEM programs?
How are the deflections of structures determined?

How do Excel and FEM programs work together?
How is concrete beam reinforcement dimensioned in FEM program?
How do the modeling / CAD and FEM programs work together?



Specialist knowledge

What does 2nd order calculation mean?
