Objective

After you have completed the course you
* know traditional finishing techniques and their application in conservation and restoration
* know the history and development of finishing techniques
* you identify the place of your own branch in the Russian society and in its structure of economic life
* you are familiar with the Russian ways of action and operations models on restoration
* you know the most important actors of the field both in Finland and in Russia; you can operate with a Russian colleague

- How are different finishing techniques used in old objects and interiors?
- How are different finishing techniques developed during time?
- What kind of different damages are there in different finishing’s?
- What are the most common techniques in conservation and restoration?
- What are finishing materials?

Evaluation
