Objective

You know the operating principles of different electrical circuits and basic components
You can find out the currents and voltages of different parts of DC and AC circuits
You know the main equations of DC and AC circuits and know how to solve them
You understand the basics of a three-phase system and can analyze how it works
You understand and know the different power quantities and their significance in alternating current technology

Content

What are the basic components of circuits and how do they work?
How are DC and AC circuits analyzed?
How does a symmetric three-phase system work?
How are complex numbers used to describe alternating current quantities?

Evaluation

Students can
