Objective

• you are able to encounter clients as active participants in their own care

The operational environment in social and health care
• you know the organization of health and social care in Finland, and you understand how the services are produced, offered, controlled and monitored
• you are familiar and able to comply with the main current operational policies in social and health care
• you are able to guide the client/patient to using the appropriate public and private sector social and health care services and third sector services in order to promote his/her health and well-being
• you know the significance of different treatment and service units as parts of treatment and service processes
• you are able to utilize electronic services as part of the overall treatment of the patient /client
• you are able to utilize social media in your nursing work and keep your private and professional roles separated in your use of social media

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:

Timing of exams and assignments

Uusintatentti suoritetaan yksilötenttinä yleisessä tenttitilaisuudessa tai Examissa (ajankohta sovittava erikseen opettajan kanssa).

Student workload

Opintojakson toteutus mahdollistaa opiskelijalle oman työnsä suunnittelun niin, että opintojakson työmäärä (5 x 27 tuntia) jakautuu tasaisesti ja kuormittamatta.

Opintojakson toteutuksesta vastaavat lehtorit Sari Engelhardt (3 op) ja Jarno Hämäläinen (2 op). Molempien opettajien osuudet tulee suorittaa hyväksytyllä tasolla.
Opintojaksolla tehdään opintokäyntejä / työelämän edustajat vierailevat oppitunneilla sekä tehdään simulaatioharjoituksia. Opiskelija on velvollinen osallistumaan näihin tilanteisiin.

Assessment methods and criteria

Opintojakson toteutus arvioidaan tuntiaktiivisuuden ja ryhmätehtin / arvioitavan ryhmätehtävän tuloksen perusteella.

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

Opiskelija ei saa hyväksyttyä tulosta tentissä ja / tai ei osallistu lähiopetukseen.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Opiskelija on suorittanut opintojakson tentin / arvioitavan tehtävän.Tietojen soveltamisen taso osoittautuu heikoksi ja perustietojen hallinnassa on selviä puutteita. Opiskelijan osallistumisaktiivisuus on vähäistä.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

Opiskelija on suorittanut opintojakson tentin / arvioitavan tehtävän. Tietojen soveltaminen on hyvällä tasolla ja perustiedot ovat hallinnassa. Opiskelija osallistuu opetukseen aktiivisesti.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Opiskelija on suorittanut opintojakson tentin / arvioitavan tehtävän. Hän soveltaa hyvin hallitsemiaan perustietoja luovasti ja kykenee hahmottaan laajempia kokonaisuuksia palvelujärjestelmään ja ammatilliseen vuorovaikutukseen liittyen. Opiskelijan osallistuminen on aktiivista ja hän tuo esiin laajempien kokonaisuuksien hahmottamisen kiitettävästi.
