Objective

After completing the practical training you know how to:
- meet different types of clients and client groups and identify their needs in everyday life.
- form client-oriented professional interaction relationships.
- describe work orientations and work practices of social work in the community of your practical training place.
- tell how your values guide your work and describe values, attitudes and legislation prevailing in your practical training place.
- evaluate your work and your working methods in relation to the working community, the basic tasks of the organization and the ethical principles of the social sector.
- reflect your own skills and set your own development needs.

How do you meet different types of clients?
How do you form client-oriented professional interaction relationships?
How to identify clients’ needs of support?
What kinds of work orientations and working methods are used in your practical training place?
What values guide the work in your practical training place?
What kind of relation there is between your own values, attitudes, the ethical principles of social sector and the values of your training place?
How do you evaluate your own skills and set yourself development needs?

Evaluation

You can use the basic techniques of searching information in specific situations.
You can take customers into consideration.
You can observe the ethical principles of the professional field in your actions.
