You can describe the regulations, instructions, and recommendations concerning social and health care.
You can name the acts, decrees, and regulations on control and their national enforcement system.
You can identify hands-on supervising and critical control points in the work unit.
You are able to give instructions to a unit and supervise it in accordance with the recommendations.
Content
What is the social and health care organization in Finland?
What is the national controlling of social and health care; legislation and recommendations?
What are the registers applicable to the licensed profession?
How to instruct a work unit and how to inform personnel of instructions and monitoring?

Students can

Literature, web based material.
Study forms and methods
Scheduled track:
Lectures according to the schedule, small group working and discussions in the class room teaching. Information search and assignments, mathematical exercises, web based learning. The oral presentation and comments of the presentations. Exercises with the computer program.
Blended track:
Information search, the use of internet material, literature. Assignments and mathematical exercises.
Student workload
Class room teaching 35%, independent information search, web based learning, literature and reading, assignments and mathematical exercises 65 %.
