Objective

You are able to work as a community educator in cross-sectoral cooperation environments in which the public, private and third sector meet. You are able to act as a member of an organization and work for its objectives. You are able to combine different types of know-how, knowledge and skills in developing civic activities and youth work. You are able to perform an individual task assigned to you or designed by yourself.

Content

How do you work in the community educator’s professional environment of your choice? What kind of abilities do you need for working as a member of work communities? How do you use your information-based and skills-based know-how? How do you evaluate your own development as a community educator student?

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Info harjoittelusta pidetään viikolla 46 ma 12.11. klo 12-13.
Opiskelija järjestää itse itselleen harjoittelupaikan. Alkuvuodesta 2018 on harjoitteluun valmennus ohjaavan opettajan johdolla.
Harjoittelun voi suorittaa kevään / kesän 2019 aikana.
Harjoittelukokemuksen purku toteutetaan syyskuun alussa 2019
Samoin syksyllä järjestetään harjoittelupaikkamessut, joissa kukin opiskelija esittelee oman harjoittelupaikkansa muille opiskelijoille.

Toteutus
Yhteisöpedagogin toimintaympäristöt -harjoittelu toteutetaan sellaisessa kansalaisjärjestössä tai nuoriso- alan organisaatiossa, joka mahdollistaa harjoittelutavoitteiden toteutumisen, tukee opiskelijan ammatillista kasvua ja edesauttaa alalle työllistymistä. Harjoittelupaikkasi voi olla esim. kunnallisen nuorisotyön toimija, nuorten elinolojen parantamishanke, kansalaistoiminnan projekti, järjestö, koulu (mikäli harjoitteluun voidaan liittää nuorisotyön näkökulmia), tapahtuma, nuorten työpaja, monikulttuurikeskus, kulttuurin ja taiteen tuottamiseen liittyvä projekti jne.

International cooperation

Harjoittelu on mahdollista suorittaa ulkomailla. Haku vaihtoon syksyllä 2018.

Student workload

Harjoittelu on työmäärältään 15 op eli yhteensä 405 työtuntia.

Ydinosaamisen opintoja tulee ennen harjoittelun alkamista olla hyväksyttävästi suoritettu 97 op. Tämä kirjataan harjoittelusopimuksen kohtaan ”Muut sovittavat asiat” lauseella: Ennen harjoittelun aloittamista opiskelijalla tulee olla hyväksytysti suoritettuna opetussuunnitelman edellyttämä määrä ydinosaamisen opintoja.
Mikäli harjoittelussa asiakkaina on alaikäisiä lapsia, tulee opiskelijan hakea ja näyttää koulutusjohtajalle rikostaustaote ennen kuin harjoittelusopimus voidaan allekirjoittaa.

Qualifications

Students who have started the studies in the autumn need to complete 97 credit units of Core competence studies before beginning the practical training period. Students who have started the studies in the spring need to complete 69 credit units of Core competence studies before beginning the practical training period.
