The course content consists of three topics related to the:
- Basic knowledge of nutrition (1 ECTS credit)
- Energy demand and consumption during exercise, energy metabolism (2 ECTS credits)
- Nutrition, fluid balance and recovery to support endurance and strength training (2 ECTS credits)

Materials

There are learning materials in the learning environment (e.g documents, links etc.). Studying the subjects also requires an active, independent search for information.

Teaching methods

The course is carried out online in Learn eLearning environment. You will see your course period in the course invitation letter. You must complete your studies within three (3) months.

The course does not actually have working life cooperation. In the learning tasks, you should also monitor your exercise and eating habits.

The course has learning tasks and tests and three (3) mandatory exams.

The course is 5 ECTS CR which means about 135 hours of independent work for students.
