Objective

- You are able to observe constructed spaces as places for public use.
- You are able to demonstrate an advanced awareness and understanding of spatial design.
- You are capable of evaluating different options and solutions to spatial issues.
- You are able to improve your plans and make variations or changes to them.
- You know how to research information regarding your design project.
- You are able to make accurate computer-aided architectural drawings and illustrations for plans.

Content

- How to plan spaces and understand demands?
- How to make accurate architectural drawings and presentations?
- How to deepen your knowledge when visiting a furniture company specialised in public spaces (an excursion)?

Evaluation

The course "Public interiors" is located in the entry-level of your studies. The assessment emphasizes criteria a, c, d and e. A student who has reached the level 3 is able to:
a. use professional concepts systematically related to public interiors
c. perceive public interiors as a whole.
d. work with customers, users and target groups.
e. use the key drawing symbols, notation systems and presentation techniques well as CAD software.
