Seminar on data analytics tools (5 cr)

Objective

You get an overview of the various programs used in data analytics. You learn about several programs based on presentations by fellow students. You can study the use of a new program independently. You learn about the usability of the program, the skills needed to use it and its compatibility with other programs. You can tell about the features of the program and train others to use it.

Content

What programs are used to collect, analyze and visualize data? What can be done with different programs? What are the trends in data analytics software?

Evaluation

Approved completion of the course requires giving an approved presentation about the chosen program and following the presentations of the other students.

Opiskelijat etsivät itse esitelmänsä kohteesta tarvittavat ohjeet, esitteet ja muun kirjallisuuden.

Study forms and methods

Opiskelija voi valita tutkimansa ja muille esittämänsä työkalun omien ammatillisten tarpeidensa tai osaamisensa mukaan.

RDI and work-related cooperation

Kurssi ei lähtökohtaisesti sisällä TKI- tai työelämäyhteistyötä. On kuitenkin mahdollista, että opiskelijan oma projekti sisältää sellaista.
