Objective

You are be able to use the methods of podiatric examination, manual therapy and functional exercise in a client-oriented, legitimate and safe manner.
You are be able to account for the factors affecting reliability in podiatric measurement and examination.
You are able to design and implement a client-oriented, logically proceeding podiatry process, and document it properly.
You are able to design and implement training programs that take into account specific needs of individuals and groups.
You can promote lower extremities’ functions by means of various stabilization and mobilization methods.
You are able to design and manufacture elemental insoles that meet client needs, as well as to make motion and functions supporting changes to their shoes.

How does clinical reasoning take place in podiatry processes?
How does clinical decision-making guide the planning and implementation of podiatry?

How do you study by observing and palpating the position and movement of human beings, as well as the movements and activity of the lower extremity joints?
How do you use biomechanical examination and different metrics when examining clients’ position and movement and the movements and function of lower extremity joints?

What are the phases of gait?
How do you describe the activity of lower extremities in walking?
How do different body parts move during walking?
How do you observe walking and the movement of body parts during walking?
How do you give advice on vertical posture and walking and the exercises that support them?

How do you increase the joint movements of lower extremities using manual mobilization and muscle stretching?
How do you use different types of supports and tape and kinesio-tape techniques to promote lower extremity functions?
How do you plan and guide your clients in stabilizing, mobilizing and functional exercises?

How do you design and manufacture elemental insoles to your clients’ needs?
