Objective

After completing this course, you are able to
• form and solve equations between quantities
• use the concepts concerning fluid and gas mechanics, thermodynamics and DC and AC circuits in solving physical and technical problems
• apply your knowledge of logistics physics in your studies and work
• use your knowledge of logistics physics to observe the developments in your professional field and introduce new applications.

Content

• How to apply the laws of fluid statics and dynamics in order to solve problems related to pressure and flow?
• How to apply the rules of thermodynamics in order to solve problems related to thermal expansion, thermal energy and heat transfer?
• How to apply the ideal gas law to calculate gas state changes and humidity of air?
• What is the principle of a thermodynamic machine and how is the performance of a thermodynamic machine calculated?
• How to calculate DC and AC circuits in electric systems?
• How to apply other phenomena of physics to logistics?
