Objective
You are able to use design thinking and identify and define areas for improvement in your design.
You know how to use the design process and how to organise your work in a goal-oriented way.
You can make your thinking concrete and visible by using images and text.
Content
What is design thinking? How do you find areas for development and use design thinking in your development work?
How do you use brainstorming methods to support your thinking?
How do you make design thinking visible and available for assessment?
How do you use your skills in your own development work?
Evaluation
Students can
a. find, study, produce and assess critically multidisciplinary data in their field of expertise.
b. solve demanding problems in research, development and innovation activities.
e. assess different strategic approaches and justify their use in terms of management and development.

The course follows a work week-based timetable.
Work-integrated learning is possible if your work tasks allow you to develop the skills mentioned in the course objectives and content. Contact the course teacher well in advance of the start of the course to determine

RDI and work-related cooperation
The tasks of the study module can be made as a real life project cooperation, to be connected for example to the student´s own work.

5 credits is 135 hours, of which contact teaching is 8 hours x 3 teaching sessions
