Objective

You are able to describe the work changes, organizational development and management trends in a changing society.

You show your familiarity with supervisory duties and leadership of social services.

You know the key issues of human resource management, well-being at work and competence management.

You recognize the basic skills of supervising, co-working and the meaning of self management.

Content

What is the main content of leadership in a changing society?
What are the main roles and duties of a supervisor in the social field?
What is the main content of team leadership?
How do you promote and maintain well-being at work?
How do you promote the cooperation between employees and supervisors?

Evaluation

a. Use professional vocabulary and concepts in an expert way
b. Evaluate information sources critically.
e. Choose appropriate models and methods and justify these choices concerning work-well-being
g. Justify their actions according to the ethical principles of the professional field.

Study forms and methods

Työviikkopohjainen oppimisväylä:
Osallistut kontaktiopetukseen ja suoritat niihin liittyvät tehtävät. Lisäksi oppimistehtävät ja tentti.
Tentin ajankohta ja oppimistehtävien palautuspäivämäärät sovitaan opintojakson alkaessa ensimmäisellä opetuskerralla.
Oppimistehtäviin voi sisältyä verkkotyöskentelyä.
Opintoja nopeuttava oppimisväylä:
Voit suorittaa opintojakson osallistumalla toisen ryhmän toteutukseen, mikäli ryhmässä on tilaa.
Työhön integroitu oppimisväylä:
Mikäli työskentelet opintojakson aikana soveltuvissa lähiesimiestehtävissä, voit suorittaa opintojakson myös työelämässä. Ota tällöin yhteys opintojakson opettajaan ja esitä kirjallinen suunnitelma siitä, miten saavutat opintojakson tavoitteet työhön integroituna.
