Objective

At the end of the course, the student is expected to be able to: list the most important conventions on international sales and explain their significance describe the seller's and buyer's rights and obligations in international trade recognise the risks in international trade describe the dispute resolution system in international trade identify different business forms and explain their basic differences in law list the intellectual property rights and explain their core content take intellectual property rights into account in international trade make a plan to protect intellectual property explain the EC product liability system

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Excellent (5); Good (4-3); Fair (2-1); Fail (0). In this study unit the assessment is based on student's knowledge on law and his skill to find information on law and apply it in professional context.
