Objective

  Knowledge of industrial safety and ergonomic instructions. Safe use and maintenance of the machines and tools. Knowledge of the most common domestic and imported wood species, their properties and how to use them responsibly. Surface treatment methods and safe use of the surface treatment materials. Safe handling and maintenance of the machines and tools. Students aim to create their own applications and to see the shapes, measures and materials of the products as well as work methods as an aesthetic and suitable entity.    

Content

  Learning to work in the workshops. Safe handling and maintenance of the machines and tools in the plastic and jewellery workshops. Students aim to create their own applications and to see the shapes, measurements and product materials as well as work methods as an aesthetic and suitable entity. Students learn to follow the industrial safety and ergonomic instructions. The successful completion of this course gives pemission to work in the plastic and precious metal workshops independently.
