Ethical social work (5 cr)

Objective

You can observe social work in a culture sensitive, ethical and critical way.You become conscious of the meaning of the ideas of man and values as a part of client work.You can analyze your own values, attitudes and prejudices with relation to principles of social work.You observe the contradictions and possibilities related with social work in different operational environments.You are aware of the purpose of registering and documentation and you are able to document confidential information of clients considering the main principles of information security and concealment of confidential information.

Study forms and methods

Opintojakso toteutetaan itsenäisesti opiskellen. Opintojakson opintosuoritukset käsittävät oppimistehtäviä ja tentin. Opintojaksosta järjestetään info 13.9. Viikolla 45 viikolla järjestetään opetusta, jossa jäsennetään kirjallisuudesta keskeisiä aihepiirejä tenttiä varten. Viikolla 48 yksilötentti verkkoympäristössä.
