Objective

Having concluded this study module student: has a comprehensive understanding of design discipline´s framework - both in-house and external -  and their implications to strategic design development work  is able to plan, conduct and manage complex design research and analysis tasks and  produce material for (company´s) strategic  development and decision making understands the strategic essence ofconsistent management of a Product Portfolio can research and assess existing and emerging markets in respectto  product strategy and portfolio can develop, organize and take measures to develop and  maintain Product Portfolio´s design quality, brand strategy support and  intangible assets understands the essence of Product Portfolio Management (PPM) understands alignment of product portfolio and business strategy understands  value of exclusive rights to intangible assets canidentifyand assess Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) issues within ones business environment understands  business potential and benefits of IPR protection is able manage actions in order to protect and enforce ones IPR can develop and maintain a sustainable IPR strategy
