Objective

As result of this study student: understands meaning of product, market and societal trends research and analysis work for present day design strategy development and is able to apply respective methods into his/her development work can systematically  conduct, organize and internalize relevant trends data for strategic decision making and development work masters basic trends analysis methods and tools is capable of setting up and conducting applied trends research can trace, observe and define trend creators, emerging trends and early adopters is capable of processing and transforming abstract market data into inspiring insights and creative design briefs for both product and service design concepts understands how designer´s methods can be comprehensively used to bring together end user´s needs, feasible technological solutions and business strategies/constraints to create customer value and business opportunity is able to consistently apply Design Thinking methodology in problem definition and problem solving
