What are the possibilities for an enterprise in the foreign markets? How can the enterprise’s international activities be planned, organised and controlled? What are the specific pathways for the internationalisation process and what are the global boundaries and limitations of internationalisation? What are the basic strategies of internationalisation and how can a SME benefit from them? How can the risk management process be organised within the frames of the internationalisation strategy? What are the cultural similarities and differences of internationalisation of businesses in various business environments?

Students can a. critically acquire, process, produce and evaluate knowledge of the internationalisation process in the context of their business. b. resolve practical and developmental problems of the internationalisation process in their specific area of work. c. develop internationalisation strategies individually and as a part of a larger team. e. evaluate strategic approaches and give reasons for their choices from the management point of view. f. work as an expert in the field of internationalisation in their own enterprise or area of work.
