Osaamistavoitteet
You learn the different ways in which modelling is nowadays integrated into environmental research and environmental monitoring systems. The course deals with various models that are used in environmental research, and you learn their use "hands on" by completing exercises based on actual data from international databases and/or data available from the Mikkeli region. You also learn the workflow from environmental monitoring data from its source to the final use in an environmental model.

Tavoitteet

Kurssi voidaan sisällyttää aikataulullisesti osaksi yksilöllistä oppimisväylää.

Tutkimukseen tutustuminen Xamk-projektien kautta
Tenttien ja tehtävien ajoittuminen
Open-end koe kurssin lopussa. Kaikki tehtäväraportit on oltava palautettuna kurssin lopussa.
Kansainvälinen yhteistyö
Kurssilla opiskellaan yhteistyössä Saksalaisen partnerikorkeakoulun opiskeijoiden kanssa.
Opiskelijan työmäärä
135 tuntia. Työmäärä kuitenkin riippuu opiskelutaidoista ja aiemmasta osaamisesta.

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet
Arviointi tehdään suhteessa opintojakson osaamistavoitteisiin ja arviointikriteereihin. Opintojakson suoritukseen kuuluu kaikkien oppimistehtävien hyväksytty suoritus.
