Osaamistavoitteet

  Student adapts the principles of working safely, follows the laws of safety at work as well as ergonomic instructions and participates in the developing of the working environment. Student learns about material choises, working methods and the forms of products as an aesthetic and purposeful entirety. Passed course gives permission to work in wood workshop independently.  

Sisältö

Safe use and maintenance of the machines and the tools. The most common domestic and imported wood species, their properties and responsible use. Surface treatment methods and safe use of the surface treatment materials.
