Objective

You know the main differences between the family and non-family businesses. You can develop long-lasting strategies for the stable and sustainable growth of family-owned enterprises. You know the basic steps in preparation of the next-generation successors in the managerial and ownership contexts. You can bind members and processes of intergenerational businesses acting as an intra-company expert. You can apply findings of the international scholarship in family business in your professional area of occupation.

What are the characteristics of the family-owned business in the international context? What are the main differences between family-owned companies in the first, second, third and later generations? How is management and ownership succession executed in family-owned businesses? How is a family business culture created in the long-lasting companies? What is the contribution of the non-family members in the intergenerational development of family businesses? How can next-generation family members be prepared and practically trained as successors and employees of family-owned enterprises?
