Objective

You have the ability to collect data based on user experience and data available in public records, in order to solve a pre-set research problem or to carry out a development project. You have the ability to analyze the data of a quantitative research by using SPSS program and draw conclusions from results. You are able to estimate the statistical significance of results produced by SPSS program in most common situations of quantitative analysis.

Content

What information is crucial for solving a research problem or carrying out a development project? What does the concept “user-oriented” mean? How do user-oriented methods work and what are their different parties? How is a random sample selected from population file by using SPSS program? How is statistical data defined and described in SPSS? How are most common types of output from analysis created in SPSS? How are most common statistical tests implemented in SPSS and are the results interpreted?

Students can a. Use professional vocabulary and concepts proficiently. b. Manage appropriate methods of information search. e. apply the key models, methods, software and techniques of the professional field g. apply the ethical principles of the professional field according to the situation.
