Objective

Students can chart the development needs in their professional field. Students can research or develop those by planning, carrying out, reporting and evaluating a bachelor’s thesis in their own field of specialisation.

Content

How is a research plan or development plan devised? How can one familiarize oneself with the background literature and make a theory framework for the thesis? How can one choose the appropriate research method or development method for the thesis and validate the choice? How can one carry out the research process or development process, considering and justifying the ethical choices related to research and development? How are the results and the possible output of the thesis reported? What kind of conclusions can be drawn out of the results and what kind of recommendations for action can be given on the basis of the results?

Qualifications

Optional professional studies according to personal study plan. Lectures "Introduction to thesis process" as a starting point of a thesis process.
