Objective
At the end of the study unit, the student is expected to be able to: explain the basic concepts of supply chain management describe the supply chain processes of a company analyse the logistical activities from the point of view of the objectives of a company explain the environmental and quality issues of supply chain management recognise the factors affecting profitability in supply chain management calculate the main performance measures of logistics operations.
Content
Supply chain management concepts, processes and objectives. Logistical activities: purchasing and procurement, transportation, inventory management and warehousing, distribution. Quality issues in supply chain management Green logistics. Logistics cost analysis and control Monitoring logistics performance.
