During the course, students concentrate on either Europe, Asia or Russia as a Trade Area. At the end of the study unit, the student is expected to be able todescribe the key events of the EU history/Asian business history/Russian business historyexplain the roles of the EU, Asian or Russian institutions relevant to international product or service tradedescribe the key policies of the EU, Asian or Russian trade organizationsidentify relevant dimensions of culture to be able to do business in the areaable to assess business opportunities and risks of either EU, Asia or Russia as a business areadescribe the seller's and buyer's main rights and obligations in consumer sales in EU and Finlandsolve simple and most common conflicts in consumer sales
