Objective
(General) The student is able to produce fluent business communications in English using the right style and vocabulary becomes aware of the terminology used in business with emphasis to communication in intercultural environment acquires business terminology and concepts crucial to the comprehension and analysis of demanding business texts. The desired level is B2-C1 according to the European Language Levels Framework. In addition, the student is able to use efficiently language tools like dictionaries, search engines, references and language teaching programmes evaluate their own communication skills and find their own approach to becoming better communicator, using electronics recognise and make use of international marketing brands and the use of marketing terms recognise the inevitability of building and maintaining customer relationships in business life describe field-based companies or organisations using appropriate English expressions plan and keep a clear, brief and factual oral presentation in English subject related to their own field and adjusting the content to their own language skills as well as the audience expectations describe their own education and work experience as well as use the appropriate vocabulary for the field of education when preparing CV in English explain and use field-essential basic concepts in English evaluate and discuss different aspects of risk in domestic market and internationally recognise and evaluate different management styles and adapting them to their own personality and needs recognise the need of working in teams, motivating and building a successful team, resolving conflicts use negotiation skills in raising finance and resources for a successful business recognise the use of being a good listener and discuss factors in importance in customer service, handling complaints evaluate and handle crisis efficiently, asking and answering difficult questions recognise and define different company structures and use the appropriate one for their own need

Assessment criteria, good (3)
Grades 3-5 refer to language level B2 Additional requirement is active participation. Active participation means: Students are present 75% of the contact classes, unless something else is mentioned. Language teachers keep record of the presence. Exams cannot be taken is the course has failed for non-presence. The course has to be taken again. Students take care that the course material, mentioned in the study plan, is available during the class, e.g. course book. Students participate in the tasks given by the teacher during the contact classes. Students do home- or virtual tasks according to the instructions and the time line.
