Objective

Students can use the key vocabulary of their field in different communication situations both orally and in writing. Students can look for information in different  texts related to their own field and apply it in communication. Students can communicate in an interactive and goal-oriented manner in different communication situations both in their learning community as well as in the workplace.  

Content

What kind of key vocabulary do students need? How do students look for information in texts related to IT and apply it? How do students compose texts related to IT? How do students manage oral communication situations? How do students communicate with their fellow students and in the working community?  

Qualifications

Attending the course requires Swedish skills enabling academic studies. 

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Students can a) use the key vocabulary of their field in a systematic manner b) look for information in the most relevant information sources of their own field d) work together with customers as well as with different target groups   The evaluation criteria are based on the recommendations of the KORU-project complemented by proficiency level descriptions.
