Objective
Physics: Students understand the principles of physics and their practical importance as discussed on the course and are able to form and solve essential equations with physical quantities. Students gain the ability to increase their knowledge of physics and apply it to practical technological problems and in later professional studies. Chemistry: Learning foundations in chemistry. The student is able to apply his knowledge in chemistry in their professional studies and in workinglife.
Content
Kinematics and dynamics of a single particle, work, power and energy, rotation of rigid bodies, dynamics of rotational motion. Chemistry: Structure of matter, chemical reaction, reaction energy, electric chemistry, chemistry of metals and nonmetals, organic chemistry, plastics, occupational safety in handling chemicals.
