Objective
Upon successful completion of this course, students are able to recognize the terminology of digital signal processing, to understand linear digital filtering systems and are able to design a simple digital filter. Students learn the operational principles of programmable logic circuits, and are able to design a simple programmable logic circuit.

• Theory of digital signal processing • A / D & D / A conversion, sampling • Fourier-transform and Z-transform • Linear digital filters and their design • Matlab and the Signal Processing Toolbox software to use in the design, simulation and testing • Programmable logic devices • Programming, circuit diagrams, hardware design languages • Simulation and verification
