Objective
After the successful completion of this course, students will be able to design routed networks. Students will be able to implement a secure routed network in the learning laboratory. They will be able to manage various routing protocols and networking technologies for routed networks and be able to resolve problems within the allotted time.
Content
IP subnetworking, address translations, routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF and BGP, route filtering, policy routing, multicasting, IPv6 protocol.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The achievement of the learning outcomes will be measured primarily by timed skill tests. Working independently, each student will build a routed network in the networking technology's learning laboratory. After the completion of given tasks at each stage, the student is allowed to proceed to the next step. The achievement of the learning outcomes will also be measured by a web-based multiple-choice module and final exams. Assessment scale: Excellent (5), good (4-3), satisfactory (2-1), fail (0)
