Objective

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to solve problems in new situations by applying acquired knowledge, facts, techniques and rules in a different way. Students will be able to analyze the new information.

Content

Network engineering projects come from local network operators, internet service providers and companies working with networks. The project work involves testing, developing, applying and analyzing new solutions with network equipment and systems. The SimuNet- R&D platform is used in the project studies. This first LCCE project is closely associated with the courses Data Networks 1 and Data Networks 2.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Assessment is based on the progress of a project and on the student's contribution to the work. The assessment includes a presentation and report to be given by the student at end of the course.
