The problems selected are from the following areas of telecommunications: The spectrum, attenuation / gain, noise Fourier transforms Information theory, entropy, BER, compression algorithms Coding, linear algebra, linear shift registers Error Detection and Correction, CRC, the generating polynomial Number Theory, encryption algorithms, modulo arithmetics Queueing Theory, queuing algorithms
